Panasonic P95 Launched In India Featuring Face Recognition, Voice Recognition and More

Panasonic, the Japanese electronics giant has recently added a new smartphone in its P- series, dubbed as P95, priced at Rs 4999. The newly launched Panasonic P95 will be available at a discounted price of Rs 3999 during the Big Shopping Day Sale which will run in between 13th May to 16th May at Flipkart. The company has launched the smartphone in three color options: Blue, Gold, and Dark Grey. At the pricing point, it seems that the Panasonic P95 will compete against the likes of Xiaomi and among others.

The Panasonic P95 is said to feature a 'zero shutter lag' that means the images will be captured without the delay. The camera of the smartphone comes with a Professional mode which helps to control the exposure and feature a red-eye reduction. The camera is equipped with an Auto-Scene Detection mode which automatically adjusts the background while capturing the images on the smartphone.

The key highlighting feature of P95 is that it comes with a Smart lock features such as Face recognition and Voice Recognition which helps to unlock the smartphone just by simply putting the face in front of the smartphone or by speaking into the phone.

Panasonic P95 Specifications

The entry-level Panasonic P95 flaunts a 5-inch HD display with the screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. In terms of software, it runs on Android 7.1.2 Nougat and supports dual-SIM. Under the hood, it is embedded with a quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 SoC, which is clocked at up to 1.3GHz, paired with 1GB of RAM and 16GB of internal storage that can be further extended up to 128GB by using the dedicated memory card.

In terms of camera department, the Panasonic P95 packs an 8-megapixel rear camera along with LED flash and autofocus features. The smartphone sport a 5-megapixel front-facing camera for selfies and video calling.

The Panasonic P95 comes with connectivity options that are 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 4.1, GPS, and FM. The smartphone has sensors on the board which includes an accelerometer, proximity sensor, and ambient light sensor. Under the hood, the smartphone packs a 2300mAh battery. The weight and dimensions of the smartphone are 164 grams and 141x70.5x7.95mm respectively.
