Panasonic T9, Budget Smartphone with Android KitKat at Rs. 3,750

Panasonic is ready to expand its business in the low-range smartphone segment by soon announcing its Android KitKat smartphone, T9. The phone though has been listed on an e-commerce store to buy at the price of 3,750 while the official launch of this handset is not decided by the Company officials yet. This budget handset comprises all the elegant features which are hard to find on a smartphone with low price tag.

As per the listing on online store, Panasonic T9 is a dual SIM smartphone which runs on Android 4.4 KitKat OS. Its 3.5-inch HVGA display provides 320x480 pixel screen output. The 1.3GHz dual-core processor powers the device. No word on the chipset detail. To execute multiple applications, a 512MB of RAM seems inadequate in the era of huge amount of apps and games availability. But, the price range will make it worthy enough to support multitasking.

On the imaging front, its 2-megapixel rear camera with LED flash offers the okay output for imaging experience and a 0.3-megapixel front-facing camera houses to offer best video calling result. Panasonic T9 on the storage side comes embedded with 4GB of inbuilt storage which is further expandable upto 32GB using microSD card.

On the connectivity front, features include 2G, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Micro-USB for this handset. A 1300mAh battery crafted inside the phone to boost the phone backup with long hours of talk time. The handset is available in black color only to buy from the online store. Last month, Company had brought a budget smartphone T40 at Rs. 5,990 which is also an Android 4.4.2 KitKat powered handset with dual SIM support.
