Pride of India - Sundar Pichai, New CEO of Google

One more time, India has proved its intelligence and smartness around the globe. And, the credit goes to Sundar Pichai. Well, if you are a tech-o-holic, then this is not an unfamiliar name for you,. We are talking about the strong personality in Google which has now become the CEO of the biggest search engine giant. Yes, he is the man who has given India a pleasure to feel proud.
August 10, 2015 – the day when Google's Chief Executive Larry Page has forwarded all responsibilities to Google's Senior Vice President and made him the Boss of the Company. 43 years old India-born Sundar Pichai has given 11 years to Google and worked on company's browser Chrome and the mobile  platform Android. He is the root behind the company's initiative Android One project.
Born in 1972 in Chennai, India, he did his schooling from his hometown, then went to IIT Khadagpur for studying Metallurgical Engineering and then got the scholarship for Stanford University where he completed his MS. He also did MBA from Wharton School of Business.
He headed to Google in 2004 and won the company though his dedication, soft spoken nature and hardwork.
Larry Page has also announced the reorganization of Google over there, where he shifted himself and the co-founder Sergey Brin to recently acquired company Alphabet, Page also said, “feel very fortunate to have someone as talented as he is to run the slightly slimmed down Google and this frees up time for me to continue to scale our aspirations.”
From now, he will be holding the Google's Advertising, Maps, Search and YouTube. So overall the core business of Google has gone to Pichai to lead with his knowledge and intelligence. Well, the honor he received from Mountain View based search engine giant has made him the latest Indian with such an honorable and biggest position in tech world. Microsoft's Satya Nadella, Adobe's Shantanu Narayen and Nikesh Arora – president and COO of Japan’s SoftBank are few Indians' name that are leading the top tech companies.
