The homegrown mobile maker, Intex has dispatched an Android 4.4.2 KitKat-based smartphone in Indian tech space, which has been named as Aqua Speed. During the launch of phone, the Business Head of corporation, Sanjay Kumar Karilona has stated that device is technically adept and economical in order to provide an unforgettable mobile-experience among consumers.
The new member of brand's Aqua family has a 4.5-inch qHD IPS display that delivers a pixel resolution of 540x960p. It's packed with a 1700mAh battery, which has been quoted to confer 4-5 hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time.
A MediaTek MT6582M quad-core processor clocked at 1.3GHz operating frequency has been incorporated into handset, whereby it can perform multiple tasks seamlessly. In terms of imaging, gadget comprises an 8-megapixel rear camera decked with f/2.8 aperture and LED flash as well as a 5-megapixel front snapper has also been provided.
To handle the graphics processing, Aqua Speed is paired with Mali 450 MP2 GPU. On software front, it comes with some pre-installed applications such as Opera Mini, Intex play, OLX, Saavn, Recharge it Now, Intex Zone, Intex Service, Askme, Newshunt and many more.
Talking about memory, device is armed with 2GB RAM alongside 16GB internal storage, which is expandable upto 32GB by using a microSD card. This dual-SIM phone assimilates 3G, Wi-Fi, F, Bluetooth and GPS connectivity options in its shell.
Moreover, smartphone has been priced at Rs. 7,444, but it's available to buy via an E-commerce website: eBay at a discounted price tag of Rs. 7,299. And, prospective buyers can choose among Black, Coffee, Gray and White color models of Aqua Speed.
