Realme 3 Set To Launch on March 4, 2019, with Helio P70 chip

A couple of days ago, the Realme 3 teaser video in Bollywood style of Gully Boy Movie has surfaced on the internet. Realme will be hosting an event on March 4 in India where the company would unveil the Realme 3, and the event will start at 12:30 pm IST. Just a few days before the official launch event, the company has started teasing the launch of the new device via a social media platform.

The company sends out the invites to press media for confirming that the Realme 3 launch event will be scheduled in New Delhi. The recent teaser confirms that the upcoming Realme phone will come with a dual rear camera setup. As per rumors, it is likely to be powered by a MediaTek Helio P70 chipset. The detailed specifications of Realme 3 have not been revealed by the company so far. It is being speculated that the next-generation phone could come with a diamond cut case and rear-mounted sensor.

Realme sub-brand of Oppo has launched five smartphones in India under the Realme brand. It’s been highly rumored that the brand has started working on its next-generation smartphone. After the separation from Oppo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has created a certain extent of whispering in the Indian market in the smartphone industry.

Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme, has started teasing about the upcoming smartphone. A new official teaser video of the upcoming Realme 3 smartphone has surfaced on the internet recently which suggests that Realme has started working on next smartphone. In the video, Madhav Sheth, CEO of Realme is dancing with the rappers of a movie from the Gully Boy. The teaser video is pointing towards that Realme 3 is on the development stage which could soon unveil in global markets including India.

The name clearly indicating that the Realme 3 will be the successors of previously launched Realme 1 and Realme 2. Both of the devices have been widely liked by the customers in India. Oppo sub-brand Realme sold 2 million units of Realme 2.

We expect that the Realme 3 is likely to get better processor and specifications than the Realme 2. To recall, the Realme 2 was launched in India at a starting price of Rs 13,990 for the base model. It received a permanent price cut of Rs 1000 in India and the base variants are currently retailing at Rs 12,990 instead of Rs 13,990 while the high- end model is available for purchase at Rs 14,990.

The Realme 2 has a 6.2-inch display that offers the screen resolution of 720 x 1520 pixels, 19:9 aspect ratio and a standard notch on the top of the display. It is embedded with a Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 processor coupled with to 4GB of RAM, and up to 128GB internal storage.

In terms of optics, the Realme 2 packs dual 13MP+2MP rear camera and 8MP camera for selfies and video calling. For the security purpose, it gets a rear-mounted fingerprint sensor as well as the facial recognition system.

The Realme 2 is embedded with a 4,320mAh battery and based on Android Oreo OS layered with Color OS 5.2. It has a vast of connectivity options such as Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS and 4G LTE.
