Earlier, Reliance Jio listed its entry level Lyf-branded smartphone on its website. Now, the company on Sunday officially launched a new Lyf Wind 6 smartphone. The smartphone is hanged with a price tag of Rs. 7,090 on the Reliance Digital website. The smartphone can be purchased from the company's physical Reliance Digital outlets.

As like the other Lyf-branded smartphones, the Wind 6 support 4G LTE bands in India- FDD Band 3 (1800MHz) and TDD Band 40 (2300MHz).
As for the specifications, the Lyf Wind 6 is featuring a 5-inch touchscreen display with a resolution of 480*854 pixels. It is powered by a 1.1GHz quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 210 MSM8909 processor and it comes with 1GB RAM. The phone houses a storage of 8GB, that can be further expanded up to 32GB via microSD card slot expansion.

The dual SIM based Lyf Wind 6 runs on Android 5.1 based operating system out of the box. It is measuring 143.50 x 72.00 x 8.70 and weighs 156.00 grams. On the photography front, it bears 5-megapixel rear as well as the front shooter.
For the connectivity, the newly built smartphone by the Reliance Jio includes Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth, FM, 3G, 4G (with support for Band 40 used by some LTE networks in India). Sensors on the phone include Proximity sensor, Accelerometer.
