As expected, Samsung South-Korean smartphone manufacturer company has finally launched the two smartphones dubbed as Samsung Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite specifically in the China market. The key highlighting features of recently launched Samsung smartphones are full-HD+ AMOLED display, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor, 4GB RAM and 64GB internal storage. The prospective buyers can pre-book the smartphone via Samsung E- store in China till 14th June and the deliveries of Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star lite will start from 15th June.

The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star is priced at CNY 2,999 which roughly translates to Rs 31,600, whereas Galaxy A9 Star Lite has been priced at CNY 1,999 (approximately Rs. 21,100). The South-Korean company is offering Galaxy A9 Star in two color options Black and White whereas, Galaxy A9 Star comes with Black and Blue color options. Currently, we don't know when the South- Korean company would launch the Galaxy A9 Star and Galaxy A9 Star Lite in India.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star features a metallic unibody design, rear-mounted fingerprint sensor and sporting chins at the top and bottom edges of the smartphone. The volume buttons are positioned on the left side, whereas the power keys are placed on the right side of the smartphone. The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star bears a 6.28-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED display, trending 18:9 aspect ratio and a screen resolution of 1080x2220 pixels. It runs on top of the line Android 8.0 Oreo - out-of-the-box. It is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, coupled with Adreno 512 GPU. As expected, the smartphone comes with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage with an option to extend further up to 256GB by a dedicated memory SD card.
The Galaxy A9 Star packs dual 16MP and 24MP rear cameras along with LED flash and aperture of f/1. At the front, the smartphone gets a 24 MP selfie- shooter with AI- beauty features and an aperture of f/1.0. Under the hood, it is armed with 3700mAh battery with the support of fast charging. The Galaxy A9 Star has 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac (2.4/5GHz), Bluetooth 5 LE, GPS and GLONASS as connectivity options. In terms of dimensions, it measures 162.4x77x7.5mm and the weight of the smartphone is 188 grams The smartphone gets a Bixby Assistant support.
Now moving to Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Lite features a metallic body design, vertically positioned dual- rear cameras at the central, a fingerprint scanner just below the rear camera setup panel and a visible antenna bands. The volume and power keys are positioned on the left and right edge respectively. The Galaxy A9 Star Lite has a different processor, camera specifications, and battery than Galaxy A9 Star. The Galaxy A9 Star Lite flaunts a smaller 6-inch full-HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity with a screen resolution of 1080x2220 pixels and 18.5:9 aspect ratio. The smartphone has an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 450 SoC clocked at 1.8GHz with Adreno 506 GPU. The smartphone is equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB internal storage that can be further up to 256GB with a dedicated memory card.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 Star Lite comes with dual- rear cameras with a similar 16MP primary camera and 5MP secondary camera. For selfies, smartphone sport a 24MP front-facing camera. In terms of connectivity, the smartphone includes 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi a/b/g/n, HT40, Bluetooth 4.2 LE and GPS. Under the hood, it packs a 3500mAh battery. The dimensions and weight of the smartphone are 162.2x75.7x7.9mm and 191 grams respectively.
