The South Korean tech juggernaut Samsung has finally fired the stage in New Delhi and brought two new members in J family, dubbed Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7. Both the smartphones are designed uniquely to meet with today’s users’ demand. Yes, the tech giant has finally brought the front-facing camera to its devices for selfie au-courant.
Both handsets have 5-megapixel front snapper which is crafted so beautifully with LED flash to offer stunning selfie output. After unveiling its sleekest phablet Galaxy A8 with 5.9mm profile, company has tried to maintain the sleekness, but didn’t seem successful as the Galaxy J7 measures 7.9mm while the J5 has 7.5mm thick profile.
At the competitive price of Rs.11,999 and Rs. 14,999, both Galaxy J5 and Galaxy J7 are quasi-premium gadgets by specification. Flipkart is the exclusive partner of the company to sell both devices in India. Pre-booking will be continued for a week, from 16 July to 23 July. As a small sibling, the Galaxy J5 has a 5-inch Super AMOLED display that provides HD screen resolution while as its elder brother Galaxy J7 has a bigger 5.5-inch Super AMOLED display with screen resolution of 1080x720 pixels.

Now, move to other specifics which describe both smartphones’ capability. Company has loaded Galaxy J5 with 1.2GHz quad-core Snapdragon 410 processor and Adreno 306 GPU which gets the compliment from 1.5GB RAM for better multitasking output. It has 8GB built-in storage which can be expanded upto 128GB using microSD card. The same expandable storage support is available on the bigger sibling.
Galaxy J7 on other side takes the power from company’s in-house Exynos SoC which has 8-cores, clocked at 1.5GHz and works along with 1.5GB RAM. As a big brother, it has big inbuilt space to store 16GB data. However, both devices have lots of similarity in specs. Both run on the Android 5.0 Lollipop OS. Both support 4G LTE connectivity.
Both Galaxy J series handsets have the capability to lure shutterbugs as well as selfie addicts. Thanks to the craftsmanship and fine engineering which has made the camera modules of Galaxy J5 and J7 incredible, embedding 13MP rear snapper with autofocus and LED flash) and, 5MP front snapper with LED flash. However, this gadget has a bigger battery of 3000mAh capacity for its bigger display while the small sibling has 2600mAh battery capacity. You can select either white or black color for both. Company is also offering flip cover worth Rs. 999 at Rs. 199 as an introductory offer.
