The Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update is presently accessible over-the-air (OTA) to Samsung Galaxy Note 4 users in India.

The Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update is around 1.4GB in size, so the company recommended the users to add the Wi-Fi before downloading the update. According to screenshots shared by user (by means of Sammobile), the Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow update for the Galaxy Note 4 brings new the new Touchwiz UI which gives upgraded ease of use and an overhauled visual outline; Quick interface that can help users effectively find and connect with the nearby devices ; propelled power saving mode that confines background data and amplifies battery life, and another new Vibration design.

The upgraded OS on the Galaxy Note 4 notifies the user to uninstall the application and after that install the new version if the Samsung Gear or Gear Fit Manager application does not work ordinarily after the latest update.
The notification also alerts the user that Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow does not support the Decrypt device function. "If mobile is encrypted, encryption cannot be disabled after upgrading," says notification popup.
