Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge Now Available in Blue Coral Variant in India

Samsung introduced a Blue Coral variant of its Galaxy S7 Edge smartphone last month, and now the all new variant has made its way to India too. After the successful launch of its new Blue Coral variant in selective markets, the company now has announced to roll out the variant in India as well. Furthermore, Samsung has also introduced a new Black Pearl variant for its flagship model, which completes the availability of a total number of seven colour variants of the handset.

The Blue Coral variant of Galaxy S7 Edge will be available for 32GB variants of the model by December 15 in all offline and online markets across the country priced at Rs 50,900. Whereas, the Black Pearl variant will only be seen in the home market of the company. The Black Pearl variant will only be available in its 128GB variant and will start rolling out by December 9 at a price rate of KRW 10,12,000 (Rs 59,000 approx). The company has not unveiled a single word regarding its availability in India.

The Galaxy S7 Edge Android smartphone was initially launched earlier at MWC this year, and made its way to India in March at a price rate of Rs. 56,900. The handset will now be available in Black Onyx, Gold Platinum, Silver Titanium, White Pearl, Pink Gold, Blue Coral and Black Pearl colour variants in different markets across the world.

Talking about the specifications, the GSM handset features a 5.5-inch QHD Super Amoled display and is powered by company’s octa-core Exynos 8890 SoC or the quad-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 820 chipset in different markets. The optical part of the handset includes a 12-megapixel ‘Dual-Pixel’ rear camera along with an f/1.7 aperture and smart OIS feature. A 5-megapixel front camera is also provided by the company with f/1.7 aperture. The always on display feature of the device helps user to check out time, date and notifications without even waking the phone up. It is backed up by a 3600mAh battery and comes with IP68 rating for water and dust resistance.
