Samsung to Unzip Tizen Based Smartphone in India

India has become the biggest market for all domestic and international mobile makers. Lots of renowned companies are looking here to grow their business. It seems like companies and Indians, both are enjoying smartphone rain in India. In this rain, the South Korean giant, Samsung is planning to bring a Tizen based smartphone in India. If such a device will launch, then that would be the first smartphone in India which will run on Tizen OS. This is a operating system which is developed by Samsung to come in the fray of companies, having own OSes like Google, Apple, Mozilla etc.

The Company will unveil its Tizen handset after Diwali. Tarun Malik, Samsung's Director of Media Solutions Center, South West Asia has claimed that a Tizen based smartphone will be launched for India very soon. But, he has not spoken anything else about the launch. So, we have no idea that what device will be arriving and when! For what kind of market, Company will be targeting by this smartphone is also unknown.

Malik has told to Economic Times, "We started late, but we are very focused. We are not shooting in the wild. This is a game that has to be led by the device manufacturer and not the pipe [telecom operators]."

It is said that Samsung is not planning to launch its Tizen based smartphone Z in Indian market. So, if you are thinking that Samsung Z would be coming, then make a full stop on your speculations. Samsung Z was unveiled in July which runs on Tizen 2.2.1 OS and has 2.3GHz quad-core processor. With GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage and 64GB expandable storage, this is a cool handset, featuring 4.8-inch HD Super AMOLED display.

It is expected that Tizen powered SM-Z130E or SM-Z130H smartphones will be launched for Indian market. So, the wave of Tizen smartphones is not so far to come in India.
