Sony, the Japanese mobile manufacturer is all set to reveal the latest technology smartphones at MWC 2018. The company will showcase some new smartphones on 26th February which is the opening day of this year’s Mobile World Congress. The company has sent invites to media organizations that Sony Xperia XZ Pro flagship smartphone will be unveiled at Mobile World Congress (MWC) Event 2018. The event will be conducted in Barcelona from 26 February to March 1. The recent leaks suggest that the company will unveil the Sony Xperia XZ Pro flagship smartphone at the event.

So far, Sony has not disclosed any information about the new smartphones which are going to be showcased at MWC 2018 Event in Barcelona. According to the leaks, it is confirmed that Sony will showcase Xperia XZ Pro flagship smartphone at the event. Specifications of Sony Xperia XZ Pro have been leaked by Chinese Website ahead of official launch. According to the recent leaks of Chinese Website My Drivers, it is expected that the Sony Xperia XZ Pro will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC and likely to come with 18:9 aspect ratio display.

According to Don Mesa, Vice President of Marketing at Sony Mobile North America the report reveals that the Sony is planning to launch more new smartphones with dual rear camera setup and full-screen displays in 2018.

According to the recent leak, Sony Xperia XZ Pro is likely to come with a 5.7-inch OLED display along with the 4K resolution. It will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 845 SoC processor coupled with 6GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage capacity. The smartphone is likely to come with dual rear camera setup, featuring an 18 - megapixel primary sensor along with 1.33μm pixel size and 12 - megapixel secondary sensor with 1.38μm pixels. It is anticipated that the front-facing camera has a 13-megapixel sensor. Sony Xperia XZ Pro is likely to come with a 3420 mAh battery which will support Quick Charge 4.0+. The smartphone also has a IP68 water and dust resistance feature.

It is anticipated that the Sony Xperia XZ Pro will be available at a price of CNY 6,000 (approximately Rs. 59,600).
