The Low-end Smartphone, Intex Aqua V4 Available via eBay

After launching the most inexpensive octa-core handheld: Aqua Amaze, Intex has commenced a low-cost smartphone, called Aqua V4 in Indian market. The Android 4.4.2 KitKat-based device has been announced with a price tag of Rs. 2,699 and currently available to purchase via an E-commerce website: eBay in Dark Gray, Silver Black, Gray Black and Gold Black colors.

Shelling out the specs of this newly launched handset, which is powered by a single-core Spreadtrum processor that is clocked at 1GHz operating frequency. It bears a 3.5-inch HVGA display that delivers a pixel resolution of 320x480p. On the imaging front, successor of Aqua line up is outfitted with a 2-megapixel rear shooter with LED flash along with a secondary 0.3-megapixel selfie snapper.

Here, the most highlighted part of the device is inlcusion of 3G connectivity at an economical value. Apart from 3G, this dual-SIM supported gadget accommodates GPRS/EDGE, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth option in its shell. Touching on the subject of memory,  it is armed with 256MB RAM along with 512MB of inbuilt storage, which can be expanded up to 32GB through microSD card.

The phone is packed with a 1,200mAh battery that has been claimed to render 9 hours of talk time and 180 hours of standby time. Furthermore, it is equipped with proximity, accelerometer and ambient light sensors.

However, Aqua V4 has been designed for people that are looking for a smartphone and don't want to spend a hefty amount. But, the budget segment of domestic tech space is already crowded with various mobile phones, where Celkon Campus A35K might be a brickbat in the way of Intex's new heir.
