It seems too frustrating dialing 0 or+91 as prefix while dialing any STD mobile numbers. It becomes irritating sometime when you forget to type 0 before contact number and call doesn’t connect with the intended number. Well, there is a good news for all to make you relax from such hassle. Soon, India will make STD calls without adding 0 or +91 as prefix.
DoT has issued new directive for India where users can connect with their friends and family without carrying the state. Some telecom operators have also implemented this new directive while some are still in the middle way to make it happen.
Now, it will become easy to dial anywhere in India. No need to add 0 or +91, simply dial the mobile number and tap dial button to make call. It will connect your call with another number without differentiating the states. It will open the gate for full mobile number portability across the country. Yes, if you are going to shift in another state and want to use the same number you have now, then it could be possible with this full MNP just like local MNP, paying some charges for it.
As aforementioned, some telcos has implemented this service while some are still working on the same.
