US FCC Sneaks Into Galaxy A3 and A5 Successor Model Galaxy A9 Details

The entire smart phone lovers are eagerly awaiting the launch of rumoured successor of the Galaxy A3 and Galaxy A5 smartphone called the Galaxy A9 which has also been spotted on Geekbench benchmarks giving partial information about its hardware.

Though sources have not been able to grab much detail about the model from the US FCC documents but still we have some vague information that states that the battery capacity of the Samsung Galaxy A5 successor would be around 2900mAh which is significantly higher than the 2300mAh model. The new Galaxy A3 also includes usual connectivity options such as Bluetooth, NFC, and Single-band LTE. The documents also mentioned two models - SM-A310F/DS and SM-A310F, where its speculated that DS stands for dual-SIM version.

The upcoming Galaxy A9 on the contrary, went through Geekbench benchmarks with model number SM-A9000 and as the reports claim the smartphone runs on an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 620 SoC (MSM8976) with four Cortex-A72 cores and four Cortex-A53 cores. The smartphone runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and includes 3GB RAM.

Earlier this month both Samsung Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7 successors got leaked in images. If the images are to be believed, the new Galaxy A-series handsets (especially Galaxy A5 and Galaxy A7) will carry forward the metal body design from the previous generation. If we dive into the specs of the Samsung Galaxy A3 (2016) we discover that it features a 4.7-inch HD (720x1280 pixels) display and is powered by an Exynos 7580 quad-core processor clocked at 1.5GHz coupled with 1.5GB of RAM. Other specifications include 16GB inbuilt storage; a 13-megapixel rear camera, and a 5-megapixel front camera.

The Galaxy A5 (2016), on the other hand, was separately leaked with reports that it runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and feature a 5.2-inch full-HD display. It is said to come with an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7 processor clocked at 1.6GHz, clubbed with ARM Mali-T720 and 2GB RAM. Other details include 16GB of inbuilt storage, a 12-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and a 4.7-megapixel front-facing camera. The Samsung Galaxy A7 (2016) runs on Android 5.1.1 Lollipop and feature a 5.2-inch full-HD display with an octa-core Samsung Exynos 7 processor clocked at 1.6GHz; ARM Mali-T720. It comes with 2GB of RAM, 16GB of inbuilt storage, 12-megapixel rear camera and 4.7-megapixel front-facing camera.
