Videocon Infinium Z40Q Star Launched at Just Rs. 4,499

The Indian Consumer Electronics Company, Videocon has diversified its Infinium series of smartphones by adding a brand-new device to the lineup, called Infinium Z40Q Star. Apparently, firm has launched a bevy of mobile phones in this array in January and all these devices have been claimed as consumer-focused, stylish and reasonable to cater the varied needs of new-age smartphone users.

Talking about this new scion of Videocon, it's fitted with a 5-megapixel autofocus rear camera alongside a 0.3-megapixel selfie camera. Loaded with Google's Android 4.4 KitKat operating system, device is packed with a removable 1500mAh battery.

Glancing at display, mobile phone has a 4-inch WVGA display that renders a pixel resolution of 480x800p. On connectivity front, phone is housed with Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and 3G functionalities. This dual-SIM supported handset is powered by a multitasking 1.2GHz quad-core processor to perform more than one task simultaneously, but its chipset is still unspecified.

Listing on NDTV suggests that gadget is coupled with some advanced sensors such as proximity, accelerometer, ambient light and gyroscope. In terms of memory, phone is armed with 512MB RAM alongside 4GB of inbuilt storage, which is expandable upto 32GB via a microSD card.

The CEO of Corporation: Jerold Pereira has stated that “Infinium Z40Q Star has been designed to bring the latest software innovation at cost-effective pricing and provide smartphone technology to every hand in the country.”

Moreover, device has been labeled with a price tag of Rs. 4,499, but its availability detail is yet-to-be announced. Well, native tech space has already seen numerous budget-friendly smartphones, where Karbonn Titanium S20, Smart A11 and Campus A35K seem tough contenders against Videocon's novel creation.
