Videocon Infinium Z50Q Star and Z50Q Lite Announced for India

The well known name in the industry of quality smartphone makers, the Videocon has come on the Indian soil and announced four new smartphones in its Infinium range- Infinium Z40 Lite, Infinium Zest Lite, Infinium Z50Q Lite, and Infinium Z50Q Star. All these four devices are based on Android platform. Here we are providing the details of two handsets among them.

Let’s begin with the good-looking Videocon Infinium Z50Q Lite. The handset matches in specs with its brother Infinium Z50Q Star. Both devices flaunt the same 5-inch FWVGA IPS display and offer the same screen resolution of 480x854 pixels. Here we are trying our best to elaborate all the features of both devices. What the specs which we have found identical in them are 2000mAh battery, 1.2GHz quad-core processor, and 5-megapixel rear camera.

Where both these smartphones show their differences, we are penning here for you. The Infinium Z50Q Star is embedded with a 1GB RAM while the Infinium Z50Q Lite lacks at this point with 512MB RAM. Both devices come equipped with 4GB of built-in storage which can further be expandable upto 32GB using microSD card. However, both have same rear snapper, but the front imager makes the camera module of Z50Q Star and Z50Q Lite different with resolution of 2-megapixel and 0.3-megapixel respectively.

On connectivity front, both are featured with Bluetooth, Wi-Fi, GPRS/ EDGE, GPS/ A-GPS, 3G, and Micro-USB support. They run on the same Android 4.4 KitKat platform and will be available in three colors – white, blue, and red. You can see both the smartphones with specifications on company website. However, no pricing and availability details have been provided by the Videocon yet. It is expected that company will soon make these handsets available in market.
