Last month Vivo had unveiled the Vivo Nex Dual Display smartphone and now the company looks planning, to introduce a new variant of the set.
The new version which is expected to pack 8GB of RAM has been spotted on the website TENAA, the Chinese regulator. Although the website has not shown any image for the Vivo Nex Dual Display 8GB RAM variant but presumed, it will look identical to the original 10GB RAM option.
The Dual screens and triple rear cameras are considerably the USP for Vivo Nex Dual Display. The set is currently only in China. The 8GB RAM variant of the Vivo Nex Dual Display is expected to be powered by a 3,425mAh battery.
In addition to all, the phone will come with a secondary 5.49-inch display and runs on Android Pie just the same as the original model.
According to the sources, two Vivo Nex Dual Display models, numbers V1820A and V1820T have been sighted on the TENAA website. Both have two displays and are seen sporting identical specifications.
As per the information displayed on TENAA, the Vivo Nex Dual Display 8GB RAM option will run on Android Pie. It will come with one 5.49-inch (1080x1920 pixels) OLED display and another main 6.39-inch (1080x2340 pixels) AMOLED display. The listings containing the specifications also reveal that the new variant will be powered by a 2.2GHz octa-core processor, paired with 8GB of RAM and 128GB of internal storage.
The processor and its specification is a mystery at this point.
The details on TENAA reveals that the Vivo Nex Dual Display would sport three rear cameras, like the 10GB RAM variant, but the sensor details are exactly not cast as of now. The list reveals that the set carries an in-display fingerprint sensor, and include a 3,425mAh battery.
The phone measures 157.19x75.3x8.09mm, and its weight will be 200.19 grams. The set is expected to be offered in Gold colour, but more colour options could be available at the launch. The attractive sensors on board are tipped to include gravity sensor, distance sensor, light sensor, and with fast charging feature.
The specifications are same as to its 10GB RAM version. The only exception that could be is, it will be having a different processor and a slightly smaller battery. The camera specifics could be slightly different than its 10GB RAM version. The Vivo Nex Dual Display 10GB RAM variant is expected to come with a 12-megapixel primary sensor with OIS (f/1.79 aperture), a 2-megapixel secondary night vision sensor (f/1.8 aperture), and a third TOF 3D stereo camera sensor.
To recall, the Vivo Nex Dual Display Edition price margin is set at CNY 4,998 which is roughly around Rs. 52,300 in the China for the lone 10GB RAM + 128GB storage model.
