Vivo, the Chinese tech giant had launched two smartphones in Nex series, dubbed as Nex A and Nex S this year on 19th June in China. The highlighting features of Nex series smartphones include motorized pop- up selfie camera, 91.24 percent screen-to-body ratio, under- display fingerprint scanner, bezel-less display and more.
An elevating selfie- camera pops-up or down from the top- edge whenever you captured the selfies in the smartphone. The Chinese tech giant is all set to launch the premium Vivo Nex S in India today (19th July 2018) at an event in New Delhi at 12:30 PM IST, which will be called with Vivo Nex.

Interested users can watch the live streaming of Vivo Nex at 12:30 PM on Vivo's Facebook page and you can also visit Vivo India website for more information about the premium smartphone. It features an under- display scanner that is touted to offer 10 percent quicker and 50 percent better accuracy, claims company.
Vivo Nex was initially appeared on Amazon.in as a part of Amazon Prime Day Sale 2018 and it will be available for purchase exclusively at Amazon. The price of Vivo Nex Indian variant will be officially announced by the company at the launch event, but the rumors reveal that the smartphone would be available at Rs 48,990
In China market, the Vivo Nex S is available in two variants 8GB RAM/128GB internal storage and 8GB + 256GB internal storage which have been priced at CNY 4,498 (roughly Rs. 47,400) and CNY 4,998 (roughly Rs. 52,600) respectively.
As of now, it is not confirmed that which variants would be launched by Vivo in the Indian market, however, Amazon live page on Prime Day Sale 2018 mentioned 8GB RAM + 128GB internal storage and it looks like it is a base variant of Vivo Nex.
Vivo Nex comes with a 6.59-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display with 19:9 aspect ratio and a screen resolution of 1080x2316 pixels. It runs on Android 8.1 Oreo Operating System layered with Funtouch OS 4.0. Under the hood, it has 845 Qualcomm Snapdragon processor coupled with up to 8GB RAM and up to 256GB internal storage.
In terms of camera department, Vivo Nex sporting dual camera on the rear panel which consisting of 12MP Sony IMX363 primary sensor offering dual-core pixels, 4-axis OIS and 5Mp secondary sensor. It gets an 8MP pop-up selfie camera on the front side,
The Vivo Nex supports 4G LTE, dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.0, USB 2.0 port, and OTG. Under the hood, it is powered by a 4000mAh battery. The dimensions of the smartphone are 162x77x7.98mm.
