Vivo Y81 4GB Variant Launched in India

Vivo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer had launched the Y81 in India in August with 3GB RAM and now the company has added a new 4GB variant in Vivo Y81. Apart from 4GB RAM, the remaining specifications of Vivo Y81 are similar to a regular 3GB variant including 32GB internal storage. The key highlights of Vivo Y81 include Face Detection, 6.22-inch display and 3,260mAh battery.

Vivo Y81 New 4GB RAM Variant Price in India

Mumbai- based retailer, Mahesh Telecom has posted on Twitter that the new Vivo Y81 4GB RAM variant comes with a price tag of 13,490. The original 3GB variant was launched in India at a price tag of Rs 12,999 but the company has slashed the price of Vivo Y81 3GB variant from Rs 12,999 to Rs. 11,990 in the previous week.

Vivo Y81 Specifications

To recall, the Vivo Y81 boasts a 6.22-inch HD+IPS display along with a 19:9 aspect ratio and having the screen resolution of 720x1520 pixels. The smartphone comes with a Gorilla Glass on the top for protection purpose. It ships with Android 8.1 Oreo out-of-the-box based on FunTouch OS 4.0.

Under the hood, there is an octa-core MediaTek MT6762 SoC clocked at 2.0GHz, coupled with an IMG GE8320 graphics. For storing data, the company has offered 3GB/4GB RAM and 32GB internal storage which can be further extended up to 256GB by using a microSD card.

For photography, the Vivo Y81 has a single 13MP rear camera featuring an aperture of f/2.2 and an LED flash. The rear camera comes with enticing features such as HDR, Pro mode, portrait, bokeh mode, AI face beauty, slow motion, time lapse, panorama, Doc mode, PDAF, filters, palm capture, voice control, and live photo. Up front, the smartphone gets a 5MP selfie camera along with same features available in the rear camera like HDR, face beauty, group selfie, filters, palm capture, voice control, portrait, and bokeh mode.

The Vivo Y81 is powered by a 3,260mAh battery. The smartphone has 4G LTE, Bluetooth 5.0, single-band Wi-Fi 802.11 (2.4GHz), GPS, Micro-USB, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The dimensions of the smartphone are 155.06x75.0x7.77mm and weight is 146.5 grams. The smartphone is equipped with an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, e-compass, proximity sensor, fingerprint sensor and virtual gyroscope.
