Vivo is now planning to unveil the Vivo Y93 in the Indian market but with a modified name, dubbed as Vivo Y91i. To recall, the Vivo Y93 was initially unveiled in the China market earlier this month. Before the official announcement, an alleged promotional poster of the Vivo Y91i has been spotted on the internet which suggests that the device could soon launch in India.
Vivo, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has expanded its Y- series by launching the Vivo Y93, particularly in the China market. Vivo Y93 features a Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC, 4GB RAM, 64GB internal storage and dual rear camera. The newly launched Vivo Y93 is an affordable smartphone which is available for purchase only in the China market. It looks similar to the Vivo V11 in terms of appearance.
The Vivo Y93 comes with a price tag of CNY 1,500 (approximately Rs 15,900). The prospective buyers can purchase the device Vivo\'s online store, China website in Starry Night and Red color options. As of now, Vivo has not revealed when it would unveil the Vivo Y93 in other markets.
The Vivo Y93 features 6.2-inch HD+ Bezel-less display that has a 19:9 aspect ratio and the screen resolution of 720x1580 pixels. The smartphone runs on Android 8.1 Oreo skinned with Funtouch OS 4.5. The company’s owned personal Jovi AI assistant feature is available in the Vivo Y93.
The Vivo Y93 has been equipped with Qualcomm Snapdragon 439 SoC which clocked at 1.95 GHz coupled with 4GB of RAM and 64GB inbuilt storage that can be extended up to 256GB by using a microSD card.

In terms of camera department, the Vivo Y93 has dual cameras on the rear panel consisting of 13MP+2MP sensors. Up front, the smartphone gets an 8MP camera for selfies and video calling. The rear camera set up comes with features such as phase-detection autofocus (PDAF) AI-powered portrait mode, whereas the front camera is preloaded with s features such as Face Wake, AI beautification, and AR stickers.
The Vivo Y93 supports 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, GPS, dual- SIM and OTG support. The device has a facial unlock which unlock the Vivo Y93 quickly by using facial expressions, but the physical fingerprint scanner is missing on it.
The Vivo Y93 is powered by a 4,030mAh battery. The dimensions of the smartphone are 155.11x75.09x8.28mm.
