Will Samsung SM-J100F Join the Array of Budget-Friendly Devices?

After announcing A-series smartphones, Samsung seems intended to bring a new lineup of mobile phones. Here, a brand-new smartphone, Samsung SM-J100F has been spotted in the database of GFXBench. Previously, Galaxy A3, A5 and A7 have made their first appearance with model numbers of SM-A300, SM-A500 and SM-A700FD respectively, so there are speculations that M-J100F could give nativity to a novel chain, called Galaxy J-series.

Apparently, a brochure of this unofficial device has been leaked by the above mentioned website, where its purported specs have also come into view. Glancing at the listing, then upcoming mobile phone will feature a 4.8-inch touchscreen display, which will produce pixel resolution of 480x800p and a pixel density of 194ppi.

In terms of imaging, it will be paired with 5-megapixel primary shooter with LED flash alongside a selfie snapper with same caliber. Both the cameras will have 1080p video recording support. On the connectivity front, device will assimilate 4G LTE, Bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, GPS with A-GPS support and microUSB 2.0 option in its shell.

The comprisal of a 64-bit quad-core Marvell PXA1908 chipset with a clock speed of 1.2GHz and Vivante GC7000UL GPU have been mentioned by the informant. The gadget will be packed with Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system along with company's TouchWiz UI.

Probably, the new scion of South Korean giant will be outfitted with 1GB RAM alongside 4GB of internal storage, but we haven't received any word regarding its maximum storage capacity till now. However, there is no information about the pricing and availability of the handset, but it's expected to be launched as a successor in the category of budget devices.
