Xiaomi Completes Thousand Authorized Service Centres in India

Xiaomi, the Chinese smartphone manufacturer has officially announced the opening of its 1000th authorized service centre in the city of Hyderabad, Telangana. Earlier in June 2017, the company had opened its 500th authorized service centre in Bengaluru and during the period of one year, the figures of authorized service centres in India got doubled said Manu Jain, Vice President and Managing Director of Xiaomi India stated that.

He further added that, “Since then the company witnessed a substantial 100 per cent growth in its service centre initiatives, earning a Customer Satisfaction score of 86 percent with an industry Field Failure rate at less than half of the industry average highlighting the impressive quality and reliability standards of the company devices.”

While announcing the opening of a 1000th authorized service centre in India, the tech giant has also announced that it is operating its business in over 600 cities across India and trying to widen its business in more cities by providing better services and facilities to customers.

Various effective initiatives such as e-token system, online tracking, and TV installation e-services have been introduced by Xiaomi in India. These initiatives help to reduced the turn around time (TAT) amd improved customer satisfaction (CSAT) score as well.

Earlier in December 2017, the Chinese company had introduced the Mi Service Order Status feature on Mi.com that lets the user check the real-time status of the service request of their televisions by using the online portal of Xiaomi instead of calling to customer executives. To track the service request, users must know the following details i.e., contact number, order number, service number, IMEI number, or SN number while input data.
