Xiaomi Launches Mi A3 with Triple Rear Camera Setup and Snapdragon 665 Soc Processor

Mi A3 is the latest Android One offering from Xiaomi has been launched in India. It comes with Vanilla Android experience and gets powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC processor. The Mi A3 uses RAM of up to 6 GB as primary storage. While the camera setup on this new smartphone includes a triple camera setup at the rear with 48-megapixel primary sensor and a 32-megapixel camera sensor for shooting selfies. It comes packed with an all-new feature of an in-display fingerprint sensor.

As far as the hardware specification of the Mi A3 considered, it shares components with the newly launch Mi CC9e smartphone in China earlier this month. The considerable difference is the presence of stock Android on the smartphone.

Price of Mi A3

The India pricing of Mi A3 is not unveiled yet. However, its pricing in Spain stands at EUR 249 (roughly Rs. 19,200) for the 64GB storage variant while the 128GB storage option will cost you around EUR 279 (roughly Rs. 21,500). The smartphone is all set to go on sale in Europe from July 24, the Mi A3 will be offered in colour options such as Blue, White, and Gray.

Specifications and features of Mi A3

The Mi A3 is a dual-SIM (Nano) smartphone which runs Android 9 Pie out-of-the-box. It gets a 6.08-inch HD+ (720x1560 pixels) AMOLED display with a water drop-style notch and aspect ratio of 19.5:9. The Mi A3 comes with the protection of Corning Gorilla Glass 5 and features an in-display fingerprint sensor. It is powered by the Snapdragon 665 SoC in association with 4GB of RAM.

On the photography front, the Mi A3 is studded with triple rear camera setup  including a 48-megapixel primary sensor with an f/1.79 lens, 8-megapixel secondary sensor with a 118-degree wide-angle lens, and a 2-megapixel tertiary sensor for depth sensing. Where the front gets a 32-megapixel camera sensor for shooting selfies.

In terms of storage, the Xiaomi offers two storage options of 64GB and 128GB, which comes with the facility of further expansion with the use of microSD card. In terms of connectivity, the Mi A3 provides options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS/ A-GPS, USB Type-C, and a 3.5mm headphone jack. The smartphone is backed by a battery pack of 4,030mAh.
