Xiaomi teased a new mysterious product launch on 13 February 2019 on Twitter. The company did not disclosed anything about the launch but as per the tweet, the company might launch a camera. There are many Xiaomi action camera and security cameras which has not been launched in the country. Some comments on the tweet points out the the company might launch its Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 Pro, but we are sure that Xiaomi will not launch a smartphone tomorrow.
The tagline used in the tweet is “RT if you have an eye for detail! Any guesses?” and for “eye”, the company used the emoji of eyes. The image tweeted also has the text “never take your eyes off”. From the image we can surely say that the company will disclose the product on 13 February 2019 as in the bottom right “Revealing on 13th February” is written. If we look at the poster closely, we can say that Xiaomi might launch a security camera.

There are many products which are launched in China but not in India including “Small camera”, “Mijia” branded “Panoramic camera set” or “Mini Panoramic camera”. So we can speculate that the company might launch any of these. Xiaomi has has a micro four-thirds camera which is names as “Micro-Camera M1” but most probably it will not be launched because the company don’t want to launch a standalone dedicated camera.
This teaser has been tweeted after Xiaomi pointed out that they are thinking of launching the Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 - the latest Redmi-branded smartphone in the country. The smartphone features a 48MP primary sensor at the back with a secondary sensor for depth mapping. The company has not yet disclosed anything about the launch of the device.
