Xiaomi Redmi 1S Successor Spotted in AnTuTu Database

However, the tech-savvy folks are still gaga over Xiaomi's  pocket-friendly smartphone: Redmi 1S, but this China based firm seems intended to gain better revenues and more leveraging by commencing a successor of handset. Notably, after being leaked by Chinese Certification Agency: TENAA, the hotly-anticipated successor of Redmi 1S has made its appearance in database of AnTuTu benchmark.

Apparently, this cryptic device of company has not received any official name yet, but it is expected to be baptized as Redmi 2S or Redmi 2. Glancing at the catalog, which has been shared by AnTuTu, then handset has been codenamed as Xiaomi HM2014811.

Here, upcoming handset will be integrated with quad-core Cortex-A53 64-bit Qualcomm Snapdragon 410 processor with clock speed of 1.2GHz alongside an Adreno 306 GPU for graphic processing. In terms of display, mobile will feature a decent 4.7-inch HD display with a pixel resolution of 720 x 1280p and pixel density of 312 ppi.

This Android 4.4.4 KitKat based gadget will be decked with 8-megapixel rear shooter along with 2-megapixel selfie snapper. Touching the subject of memory, it will bestow 1GB RAM along with 8GB of expandable inbuilt storage, which can be enlarged upto 32GB via microSD card.

The most captivating part of forthcoming handheld is inclusion of 4G LTE connectivity option as well as 134 x 67.21x9.2 mm dimension and 132 grams weight, which all make it more svelte and zippier than its predecessor. Moreover, it will be fueled by a 2200mAh battery, but its lifespan has not been mentioned by the informant.
