Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 Unveiled, Expected to be Launched at CNY 799

The noted mobile maker: Xiaomi seems on a launching-spree, where company has introduced several feature-rich handsets at reasonable prices in a span of few weeks in order to capture the marketplace of smartphones. And, after collecting a lot of accolades by bringing Redmi 2, Mi Note and Mi Note Pro, this tech giant has again managed to come in headlines with a brand-new device, called Redmi Note 2.

However, this unannounced successor of Redmi Note had already been emerged in various rumors and tidings. But, this time handset has been approved by Chinese Telecommunication Equipment Certification Center: TENAA, whereby its almost aspects and actual look came into view.

Cosmetically, upcoming device looks identical to original model due to 154 x 78.7 x 9.5 mm dimension and 5.5-inch display. Touching the subject of memory, gadget will be decked with 8GB of internal memory, which is expandable upto 32GB using a microSD card. On imaging front, its rear panel will be coupled with a 13-megapixel camera as well as phone will incorporate a 5-megapixel front shooter just like the ideal model.

As per Gizmo China, the new creation of firm will be powered by a 1.2GHz quad-core processor Snapdragon 410 processor and it has been claimed to be loaded with Android 4.4.4 KitKat operating system based on MIUI 6, which make it different from its predecessor. Rest of the specs include, 4G connectivity, dual SIM card slots and 188g of weight.

Notably, reports are suggesting that corporation will launch two editions of Redmi Note 2: 1GB and 2GB RAM versions. Where, first model has been speculated to go on sale with a price tag of CNY 799 and its sibling is expected to be showcased on the shelves of retail stores with a price tag of CNY 899 or CNY 999.
