Xiaomi to Offer Pre-Orders For Redmi 4, Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4A in India Today

Xiaomi, the leading Chinese smartphone manufacturing firm, on Friday, is making its Redmi 4, Redmi Note 4, Redmi 4A smartphones available for pre-orders on the company’s official Mi.com. The pre-order system of the company, which was started back in March this year, allows the interested customers to grab the handsets without any hassle of queuing up for weekly sales.

The desired people, who pre-order the Xiaomi Redmi 4, the Xiaomi Redmi Note 4 or the Xiaomi Redmi 4A from the company’s official site will have to make the complete payment online, as there is no option for cash on delivery given by the company. After making the payment, the selected smartphone will be shipped within five days of a time period, in the meantime, if you change your mind then the company also allows you to cancel your order before the arrival of the shipment. Looking at the heavy demand of these products, Xiaomi has placed a limit of only one smartphone per pre-order, which will start from 12 pm IST on Friday.

Concerning about the handsets, the Xiaomi Redmi 4 made its debut in May and was introduced in three memory variants, which include a 2GB RAM/ 16GB storage variant priced at Rs 6,999, a 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant priced at Rs 8,999 and a 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant priced at Rs 10,999.

The Xiaomi Redmi 4 Android smartphone is blessed with a 5-inch HD curved glass display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels and runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow. It features an all-metal body along with a fingerprint sensor on the rear panel and is powered by a 1.4GHz octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 435 SoC paired with 2GB/ 3GB/ 4GB of RAM.

In term of optics, the smartphone packs a 13-megapixel rear camera with f/2.0 aperture, PDAF, and LED flash. A 5-megapixel front shooter with f/2.2 aperture is also provided by the company for selfie enthusiasts. As we have already mentioned, the handset will be available in 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB inbuilt storage options, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

Connectivity options on the board include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, Micro-USB with OTG, Bluetooth v4.1, and 3.5mm audio jack. It is backed up by a 4100mAh battery and also features an infrared sensor.

Coming next to the Redmi Note 4, the Dual-SIM handset was launched back in January this year in three memory variants, which include a 2GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant priced at Rs 9,999, a 3GB RAM/ 32GB storage variant priced at Rs 10,999 and a 4GB RAM/ 64GB storage variant priced at Rs 12,999. Moreover, the company also allows customers to choose from Gold, Grey, Matte Black, and Silver colour variants of the smartphone.

The handset features a 5.5-inch full-HD 2.5D curved glass IPS display, with a resolution of 1080x1920 pixels and 401ppi of pixel density. It runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow and is powered by the Snapdragon 625 SoC coupled with 3GB/4GB RAM depending upon the SKU.

In term of optics, the Redmi Note 4 packs a 13-megapixel CMOS sensor equipped with PDAF (phase detection autofocus), a f/2.0 aperture, 77-degree wide angle lens, and dual-tone LED flash. A 5-megapixel CMOS sensor, coupled with an 85-degree wide angle lens is also provided by the company for selfie enthusiasts. It also comes with an option to expand its memory up to 128GB via microSD card.

Connectivity options on the board include 4G with VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/g/b/n, Bluetooth v4.1, GPS, Micro-USB, and Infrared. The device is backed up by a 4100mAh battery and also packs an accelerometer, ambient light sensor, gyroscope, electronic compass, and proximity sensor. It measures 151x76x8.35mm, and weighs 175 grams.

Lastly, there is the Redmi 4A, which was introduced in India back in March 2017 at Rs 5,999. It is blessed with a polycarbonate body and runs MIUI 8 based on Android 6.0 Marshmallow. The handset features a 5-inch HD display with a resolution of 720x1280 pixels and is powered by a 1.4GHz quad-core Snapdragon 425 SoC paired with the Adreno 308 GPU and 2GB of RAM.

In term of optics, the GSM handset packs a 13-megapixel sensor with PDAF, a 5-lens system, a f/2.2 aperture, and a LED flash. A 5-megapixel front shooter with a f/2.2 aperture is also provided by the company for shooting selfies. Moreover, it packs 16GB of inbuilt memory space, which can be expanded up to 128GB via microSD card.

Connectivity options on the board include 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 b/g/n, GPS/ A-GPS, and Bluetooth v4.1. Sensors on the device include an accelerometer, ambient light, gyroscope, infrared, and proximity. It is backed up by a 3120 mAh battery with fast charging support, measures 139.5x70.4x8.5mm and weighs 131.5 grams.
