Xolo Q1010 Gets Android KitKat Update

Xolo has introduced Android KitKat update for its one of smartphones. Company has come up with a new updated Android OS for Q1010. Before getting the update, it had been running on Android 4.2 Jelly Bean OS. However, the update is not available on OTA.

To download the Android KitKat update, users have to go at Xolo's official support website and need to download manually. The update will contain the size of 316MB file. Update for Q700S, Q1010i, Q1010, and Q3000 announced earlier by the company.

The company had already brought Android 4.4.2 update for Xolo Q1010i and Q1000 Opus had also got the update earlier. The Xolo Q1010 was launched earlier with a price tag of Rs. 12,999. The dual SIM handset features 5-inch HD IPS display that offers the screen resolution of 720x1280 pixels. The device is coupled with 1.3GHz quad-core MediaTek MT6582 processor. The graphics unit of the handset is equipped with Mali 400 GPU that provides wonderful graphics with good gaming experience.

Storage front of Xolo Q1010 gets 4GB of inbuilt storage which is expandable upto 32GB via microSD card. On the rear end of the device there is 8-megapixel of camera with LED flash and BSI sensor and front of the device gets 2-megapixel camera. Xolo Q1010 has 3G, Wi-Fi, Micro-USB, and Bluetooth connectivity options. It is packed with 2250mAh battery which makes the promise of delivering 19 hours of talk time and up to 732 hours of standby time.
