YotaPhone 2 Dual Screen Smartphone with always-on E-ink display

A Russian manufacturer Yota Devices has proved its different approach in smartphone market by presenting dual Screen smartphone. The Company has given a new direction to the technology by making such innovative device. After luring people with its YotaPhone, the Company is looking forward to present the successor, YotaPhone 2. Company has decided to launch its next device in London on 3rd December. This new product will also be based on the same approach of its elder brother which is its Alaways On display, thanks to its dual Screen.

The new YotaPhone 2 aka YotaPhone (2014) launch will be based on invite-only event. The tech giant has tweeted about its official launch which reads, "YotaPhone2 will be presented December 3! We will celebrate with a by-invitation only event in London - stay tuned!" the Company has also showed image of the new handset, showing slightly curved corners and edges which is different from its predecessor.

The first dual Screen smartphone of Company, YotaPhone was unveiled in India at Rs. 23,499 and now the next one is going to London to show its glimpse. It is claimed that the YotaPhone 2 will come paired with a touch-sensitive rear display and a front display. The rear panel’s display will consume less power compared to its main display. This will be capable enough in maintaining calls, texts and emails.

It was first showcased at MWC 2014 where firm claimed it as a more "intuitive and interactive" smartphone. With a 2.3GHz quad-core Snapdragon 800 processor, it is faster than its predecessor. The prime feature to make it alluring device is its always-on E-ink display which is 4.7-inch big while the front panel has a full-HD 5-inch AMOLED display.

It will be running on Android platform, however which version will it use is obscure. It will be equipped with Adreno 330 GPU and 2GB of RAM. Other specifications include 2550mAh battery, 32GB built-in storage, 8-megapixel rear camera with LED flash, and 2-megapixel front-facing camera. 4G LTE, Wi-Fi 802.11 a/b/g/n/ac, USB 3.0, Bluetooth v4.0, GPS with A-GPS will be used for meeting with connectivity purpose.
