The Indian handset maker, Zen Mobile has also put forward its first step to cultivate its breeds in market of Firefox OS-Based Smartphone. Apparently, the firm has dispatched its first Firefox OS mobile phone, Zen Firefox U105 in the domestic marketplace with a price tag of Rs. 1,999. Also, the handset is exclusively available to purchase via an E-commerce website: HomeShop18 from the 16th of Oct, where this retailer has claimed 15,000 units of the phone has been sold out on the first day.
Diving into this new successor to Firefox series, it bestows a 3.5-inch HVGA display and delivers a pixel resolution of 320x480p. This dual-SIM supported device is paired with 1GHz processor along with 1200mAh battery, which is quoted to deliver 5 hours of talk time and 240 hours of standby time.
However, the listing on the online portal shows that the device is arrayed with 256MB inbuilt storage that is expandable up to 16GB via microSD card, but there is no word about its RAM. In terms of imaging, the gadget assimilates a 2-megapixel rear camera with flash alongside a 0.3-megapixel selfie snapper in its shell.
Furthermore, the handheld incorporates 2G, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth options on the connectivity front. It also provides inbuilt proximity, accelerometer, gyroscope and ambient light sensors at an inexpensive monetary value. Within a span of 2 months, Four Fireforx mobile phones have arrived in the native tech space. Where, the cheapest Alcatel's OneTouch Fire C and Intex Cloud FX are the better rivals of Zen Mobile's new scion.
