ZenFone 5 Max Spotted With Snapdragon 660 SoC and 4GB RAM at Geekbench

Asus, Taiwan - based smartphone manufacturing company launched three smartphones in its Zenfone 5 series dubbed as ZenFone 5 Lite, ZenFone 5 and, ZenFone 5Z in the previous month at Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2018 which was conducted in Barcelona. It seems that company is planning to add the 4th model in Zenfone 5 series likely to be dubbed as ZenFone 5 Max. The new smartphone has spotted on Geekbench with the model number ASUS_X00QD and some of the specifications of the new smartphone are also listed here.

According to the listings of Geekbench, it is anticipated that it will be powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 SoC, clocked at 1.6 GHz, likely to be coupled with 4GB of RAM. It will run on latest operating system i.e., Android 8.0 Oreo. The smartphone gets Wi-Fi certification and the smartphone scores well 1518 in single-core tests and 5386 in multi-core tests, as compared to the previous smartphone Snapdragon 600 series SoC, that we have seen earlier.

ZenFone 5 Max is likely to come with top-notch just similar to the iPhone X, which we have seen earlier on Asus Zenfone 5 and Zenfone 5Z series. It is anticipated that it will come with a vertically arranged dual- rear camera setup along with fingerprint scanner positioned on the rear panel of the smartphone

Keeping in mind the smartphone revealed at MWC 2018 and the older lineup series, it is speculated that the Asus might offer the smartphone in two storage options: 64GB and 128 GB. It is rumored that ZenFone 5 Max could feature a 5.7-inch Full HD display along with 18:9 aspect ratio.
