Facebook has brought up a new feature that adds an immersive feature to the world of video displaying and promoting. Earlier, the social networking site had only placed the feature of 360 Degree Video Support for the Web and Android users in September, but now it has got an availability panel over the iOS platform. The users with iPad and iPhone can also get the benefits of 360 Degree Video Support.

The biggest highlight has been placed for the smartphones as well as the iPhones to get a rotatable panel by dragging the fingers on the top of the video. Rotating the device to view at any of the desired angle can provide the user with the accurate position. For the web users, changing angles by using on-screen cursors will be helpful.

CEO Mark Zuckerberg, while announcing the news, in a Facebook blog post state that, "360 video is a completely new experience because you can move the camera around. This opens new ways of sharing experiences and makes you feel like you're part of what you're watching. It's a step towards even more immersive experiences". For the reference, he shared a 360-degree video shot by ABC News in North Korea.

Zuckerberg also added that, the support for the new video feature on the social platform will allow people to share a lot more 360 content in the future.

Facebook has dedicated 1.1 billion daily active users, with the website lists some 360-degree videos shared by Nickelodeon, World Surf League (WSL), VICE and LeBron.  Earlier in September, GoPro, Discovery and Saturday Night Live publishers shared 360 Degree Videos, at the launch.

Not only the handsets, but the Samsung wearables will also get the privilege to feature the video pattern. More likely, Samsung Gear VR headset is expected to feature the same.
