Google Handwriting Input App for Android devices Announced

Google has recently announced a new app for its Android devices users. A new handwriting app has been released by the search engine giant, which is labeled as Google Handwriting Input. It is designed to let users to write direct on smartphone screen for sending text to their contacts or sending mails.

Using this new app, you can write text in your own handwriting on smartphone or tablet screen. These handwritten texts then will automatically be changed into the digital text format. The best part is, you can use it without stylus also. So, do not worry, there is no need of stylus to write on the screen. You can make use of your fingers for it. This app will make maintaining notes and composing mails easy.

It has around 82 launguages which can be interpreted by Google Handwriting Input. It does interpret the cursive writings also. Even, you can design emoji with your fingers on screen which are also interpretable in digital format.

Google stated in a blog post, "Using handwriting as an input method can allow for natural and intuitive input method for text entry which complements typing and speech input methods." Well, Google’s this app is not alone in this field. Microsoft is serving in the same fray from years for Windows tablet PCs. However, it is being used in corporate world for quick notes, named Windows Journal.

The app is available on Google Play for free to download and is compatible with Android 4.0.3 and above.
