Google, Intel, TAG Tie-up Took Birth for Luxury Android Wear Smartwatch

The prestigious name in fashion industry TAG Heuer will soon be seen in the tech industry with its own timepiece. Wait, it won’t be a regular watch to see time, it would be smart also. Company has put the smartness of technology in its luxury watch. To make this happen, Google and Intel will help the Swiss watchmaker.

It would be proved as a great deal for Google and Intel both as the search engine giant will get the chance to enter in the luxury smartwatches industry. Currently, it hasn’t developed own wearable, though most of tech companies use its own developed Android Wear platform for their smartwatches.

Intel Google Tag Heuer Smartwatch

So, we will soon see a luxury Android Wear smartwatch under the TAG Heuer branding. The Swiss luxury watchmaker will design it and Intel will give its hardware to power the wrist-worn and Google will give it the base to run it. This partnership will profit three of them and the trio of them will bring a very plushy and ritzy smartwatch for sure. Google and Intel, both are new in the wearable market as Intel has not produced any smartwatch yet and Google has the platform but doesn’t have its own wearable. And for TAG, it’s a kind of golden opportunity to append its timepiece with tech.

President of LVMH Watch Group, the parent company of TAG Heuer said, “Swiss watchmaking and Silicon Valley is a marriage of technological innovation with watchmaking credibility.” The biggest threat for the Swiss company is Apple as the Cupertino giant snatched its VP last year, so the company has decided to partner with Google instead of Apple for their first luxury smartwatch. It is speculated that it would be the most luxurious smartwatch in the world with exorbitantly pricey value as TAG will design it. There is speculation that the new timepiece will reminiscent of company’s royal and classic Carrera model.

No idea about its specs, features, pricing and built. It is said that the luxury smart timepiece from this partnership will reach in market to lure by end of the year in between October and December.
