Google Rumored to Launch Google Play in China, Next Year

The tech giant, Google is supposed to launch this Play Store service in the coming year in China. The plan comes 5 years of stopping its services of Google products in 2010. Two of the people stated that the Google Play Store will be specifically made for Chinese users in their geometric location. Sunder Pichai, the Chief Executive of Google expressed his willingness to get into the market of China.

But in contrary to their expectations, the critics stated that the company has lost their market in China due to the presence of Chinese local players. Shen Si, CEO of Chinese mobile advertising company PapayaMobile and a former Google employee stated that "If they want to break the ice with the Chinese market then they have to pick a pretty important product to make available to the Chinese people and make it really localized".

MacDonald, a business ethics expert at Toronto's Ryerson University, mentioned that there is not any doubt that apps from Play Store is the best option for any user in concern to its security, but he also asked a query that "Which ones involve the least consumer data? Which ones are least likely to be politically sensitive or serve as a means of expression for political dissidents?"
