The leading banking company in India HDFC has come out and brought a new app for making transaction easy. The bank has recently launched an app, called Chillr which is developed by MobMe Wireless Solutions Ltd, a Kochi based company. This app will let users to transact money over mobile phone without worrying about the adding beneficiary and all.
The Chillr app let users to transfer money instantly using their smartphone. One can easily send the amount to the contacts saved in their smartphones 24 by 7. This will remove the hassle of entering number of account information to transfer money, Adding beneficiary won’t be required any more.
It will give you the option of selecting the recipient from the Chillr contact list. Click on one name to which you want to transfer money and enter the amount to be transferred. If you want to add a message, then you can leave a message too. After that, Chillr needs a M-PIN to enter to make the transaction secure. After entering the PIN, you can press on the Pay button to complete the transaction.
Only Android and iOS devices’ users can take the benefit of such application. But, there is also some validations to use this app. This app will work for only those numbers which are registered with the HDFC bank for mobile banking because of security reasons. The transaction limit is also set upto Rs. 5,000 and the number is also limited to 10 for upto same Rs. 5,000.
Chillr will allow you to request money from friends and split the bills amongst friends as well. It is said that it will soon start transacting for online shopping, mobile bills and many more.
