Apple seems to make happy the Indian iPhone app developers by adding a new section in its India App Store. Yes, there is a good news for all those Indian software developers who often get ignored by iPhone users because of the presence of huge numbers of applications of global markets. They often face ignorance even after having really something new and good ideas.
For this reason, the Cupertino giant has come forward with a new section, named Made in India. This section can be seen on carousel home page of App Store. The page comprises of Apps, Games, Popular Services, Southern soundtracks, Bollywood Beats and Films celebrating India. Each category can be filtered and expanded as per their featured names and release dates. "See All" page shows total 20 items and the main Made in India page shows 12 items in each category.
The page is listed with featured apps like NDTV, Hike Messenger, and Camera Plus and featured games such as Flick Tennis, Real Cricket 14 and Parking Frenzy India. The way Apple is promoting local apps in India is quite praiseworthy.
Two years back, the Company had also made an effort to up the its business in Country by introducing Rupee pricing for the India App Store and also brought the iTunes Store to India back in 2012.
