Soon after the Technical Preview of avant-garde Operating system: Windows 10, Microsoft has now started Consumer Technical Preview of Office 2016. In particular, Redmond giant is offering an early test of this touch-friendly Office suite among folks, which is a big news for those who are keen for Windows platform as well as that are eagerly waiting for this operating system.

Notably, corporation has made it possible by allowing people to download test bits of Office 2016 productivity apps from Microsoft Connect Test Site. As per ZDNet, a spokesperson of tech giant has stated that "Anyone can access the bits under the terms of the NDA." It means, everyone can become an early adopter of software after agreeing to non-disclosure agreement (NDA) terms.

Earlier, participation in pre-release beta program was limited to those who received an invite after registration. But now, consumers only need to visit the dedicated site, where they will have to click "Sign-in" button in the row for Microsoft Office and after an initial sign-up process, latest Office preview software will be available to download.

However, this novel quest of corporation is far away from launch as well as all of the features of Office 2016 are yet-to-be disclosed. But, two new attributes of touch-first office suite have come into view, where "Tell Me tool" will capacitate the users to perform the task with guidance. And, another one is "automatic image-rotation" option, whereby customers can correctly position images in documents such as Word, Excel spreadsheets and PowerPoint presentations.
