Microsoft Bringing More Cloud Data Centers in India

The fastest emerging Indian market is now a target of leading Multinational Corporations, where a huge demand of cutting-edge technology is giving nativity to innovative invention day by day. Here, Microsoft seems quite influenced, which has earned Rs 2,261 crore from the cloud market of nation in 2013-14. And, this time software giant has geared to capture more market shares by announcing three Cloud data centers for India. A while ago, company has also proclaimed about its free last-mile Internet connectivity plan.

By cognizing the need of sovereignty-concerned consumers that are related to banking and telecom industries, Redmond based firm has planned to spend Rs. 1,400 crore for this plan. The local data centers has been said to set up in Mumbai, Pune and Chennai. Apparently, native cloud market is on a higher verge and adding 2,000 customers each month.

Why people are more attracted towards the Web-based content management systems and adopting it? So it is a simple idea, which made storing and accessing of important files, photos, music and documents a breeze, where keeping the data available and accessible is a responsibility of providers.

After the creation of Cloud service, users can store data in a secure location with ease even without a backing of an external hard drive that is little susceptible. Instead of saving files in PC, save them online on cloud and access them from any computer by logging into cloud account. It confers more flexibility for files sharing and editing as well as minimizes the chances of data damage, loss or corruption.

At this place, some major players like IBM and Amazon have also shown their keen interest in establishing data centers in country. According to the estimation of Gartner, burgeoning domestic space for cloud adoption is expected to increase from $423 million in 2013 to $1.3 billion in 2017.
