Samsung Brings Note 7 Updates to Galaxy S7 and S7 Edge

After the suspension of company’s flagship model Galaxy Note 7, Samsung now is providing new updates to its Galaxy S7 users, in which the users can experience Note 7 like features in their S7 smartphone. The company now has all of its hopes on company’s only flagship model Galaxy S7. The S7 and S7 Edge users of the company are reporting that they are getting an update notification that adds Note-7 like features in the smartphone.

“Everything now is like Galaxy Note 7 AOD (always-on display) except the AOD notes feature and third party including the stock email app notifications are strangely not working!!” said a member of XDA Developer forum in a post. The current Galaxy S7 users are also supposed to get some new and big updates to their devices, which will add the new Clock to the always-on display.

The upcoming Always-On Display will include Clock, Calendar, and Image setting functions, digital clock, and the new calendar will be the new features added in the update. By the update the Galaxy S7 users will also get an option to use their signature on their Always-On screen. However, we know that all of the Note 7 functions can not run on Galaxy S7 smartphones. This Note 7 issue no doubt is one of the biggest threat for the company, which also have affected the brand image of it. According to a survey conducted in the US, more than 40 percent of the current Samsung users are not willing to buy another Samsung mobile phones.
