Samsung Plans to Open Tizen Store Globally

South Korean tech gargantuan Samsung has brought its Tizen store for global market. With the aim of expanding its business in Tizen based devices, company has decided to bring something innovative thing to inform the world about its own platform and devices based on it. The Tizen Store has come in existence to sell Samsung’s Tizen based devices. Though it has only Samsung Z1 listed.

The Z1 is the only phone which is now available in India and Bangladesh. So, we can say that launching a global store could be for expanding the Tizen business in other regions also. The Tizen store has been scheduled to launch in 182 countries. It’s a clear indication of Samsung’s plan for becoming ambitious on its in-house platform.

It is said that we can see smartwatches on the store which run on Tizen platform. So, not only smartphones, smart wearables will also get their chance to show competence on store. However, Tizen has been failed in gaining customers’ trust, but Samsung still has hopes with its in-house platform. Well, we have no idea about company’s further plan for Tizen based devices. But as per the South Korean giant’s statement, “Our plan for Tizen smartphones has not changed since the launch of the Z1. We see a great potential in Tizen-based smartphone,” we can say we will soon see several new Tizen powered handsets.
