The war between tech giants Google and Samsung has crossed every limit, but both them keep evolving the new dimensions everyday. The latest has been in terms of smartwatch and both of them are dying to move into each others' place. What Samsung has come up now is the payment option with its upcoming smartwatch as reported by the home country's Electronic Times Newspaper. Initially, the company did not respond or comment on the topic, but later it was confirmed.
Samsung will use Near Field Communication (NFC) for make the mobile payment possible using this upcoming smartwatch. It rival Apple has already doing the same using the same NFC technology. In its official statement, the company said that “its Samsung Pay mobile payments service, which supports NFC technology, will be available with selected partners in July.”
However, the reports published in newspaper cites no sources and we also still can not comment about how true it is, but considering the history of rivalry between these two tech giants, the thing is very much possible.
