WhatsApp, Facebook-owned company and world's best messaging application is currently working on the advanced or updated feature which will enable users to share any type of file with your contact list which will also includes Apk files. WhatsApp always wants to stand in number one position in the competitive market.
Presently, WhatsApp users are able to share files including images, audio, and video, for sharing this kind of files application supports only some particular format. If in a case if the user wants to share some different type of file, either user have to download the compatible applications such as iCloud or Google Drive or to convert the file to a supported format and then finally user will be able to share the file.
Last year WhatsApp has introduced document sharing feature in its messaging applications. Under the document sharing feature, it supports PDF, spreadsheets, word documents, and slides formats. Recently, WABetainfo has disclosed that WhatsApp is testing a new feature or update for Android, iOS and Windows Phone users which enable users to share any type of files including Archive and media files.
Now the users can share GIFs, and videos without compressing the files, but there will be a size limit for sharing. As per the report, there is a different limit for different users. For iOS users, the limit will be 128MB whereas for web users it will be 64MB and 100MB for Android users. Yet it is not cleared that new feature is working or not across the Globe. Some early users have already availed the new feature and shared different format of files with their contact list and also posted screenshots on Twitter.
