Windows 10 Anniversary Update Rollout Will Last Until Early November

Microsoft has begun rolling out the Windows 10 Anniversary Update from August 2 and numerous users still haven't got any notification on their system about the upgrade. Now, fresh information comes in stating that the update may not be done rolling out until early November. Microsoft informed at the starting rollout that the upgrade would be in stages because of the volume of gadgets running on Windows 10, however, the exact time period wasn't determined. Presently, ZDNet reports that it got an impact email from Microsoft that the redesign will take three months to take off to all the users - which would mean by November 2. As of June, Windows 10 is assessed to have been installed on around 300 million machines all over the world, and these machines are set to get a redesign.

"The Anniversary Update will download and install via Windows Update. The download is automatically available to you. It will begin rolling out on 2 August 2016 and may take up to 3 months to reach all users. Internet access fees may apply," the publication informs. This must give some clarity to each one of those Windows 10 users who hasn't got the upgrade. For each one of the individuals who can hardly wait for the OTA overhaul, can update manually at this moment by going through the procedure described below.

If you haven't turned on automatic downloads, then look for the update manually in Start > Settings > Update and security > Check for updates. The Windows 10 Anniversary Update will appear as 'Feature update to Windows 10, version 1607'. If you haven't received the update yet, switch on the automatic updates toggles to get the update installed automatically whenever it arrives. However, if you can't wait, then you can manually get the update on Microsoft's support page, where you can download the ISO image file. Follow the instructions to install the update. Ensure that you have at least 4GB of free space on your device for everything to run smoothly. For those who own a Windows 10 PC at work need to ask their administrators on how they plan to update. Microsoft Windows 10 Mobile Anniversary Update was expected to discharge close by the desktop overhaul, however, that didn't happen. Rather, it discharged much later and brought along moderate changes.
