What's Good
Splendor NXG is an advanced version of all time bestseller Splendor. It has a good sporty appeal and looks. The equipment level has been raised and it looks youthful. It's good to use for daily purpose. The engine is reliable with ATFT technology.
What's Bad
Splendor NXG is a rider's commuter bike, because with pillion, it becomes cramped and both face adjustment issues. The brakes of this bike are quite inefficient, which would have worked well with the option of disc brakes.
Power to mileage
The mileage is the most dominating feature of this bike. It easily delivers a mileage of upto 65 KMPL. It's responsive engine is frugal and performs well. The riding ergonomics and fuel efficiency make it a great buy. But , the level of performance would have been better with a tuned engine.
Handling and riding
The weight of this bike has been kept close to that of the conventional version of this bike, which can be managed easily and adds maneuverability to its genes. This bike hates its job on highway but loves to cut the streets' corners.
Safety
The kick start is convenient to use. The bike consist not much of safety aspects and is equipped with front and rear drum brakes. The light on either sides of the bike serves the purpose well. The rear suspensions are hydraulic and adjustable.
Maintenance issues
The Honda sourced engine isn't very demanding and has good efficiency. The cost of spare parts is also on lighter side and hence, repairing damage won't be cost more.
Verdict
Splendor NXG is the Splendor with some stylish body work. It looks good and rides good and doesn't compromise with the efficiency. It can be considered if one wants Splendor's reliability in smarter package.
