The largest Indian two wheeler maker, Hero MotoCorp has revealed a new stunning bike, Xtreme 200 R at Delhi Auto Expo. It is inspired by Xtreme DNA. It gets sharps and edgy lines that stand it apart from other bikes. Even the motorcycle's saddle is featured with racing inspired dual tone color scheme that gives an aggressive look. Overall the styling of the bike is muscular and unique which grabs attention of viewers.

What's good
From Hero MotoCorp, the Xtreme 200R is the latest and the flagship product. This bike not only gives the performance but also gives a fun riding experience. The Hero Xtreme 200R is available in five colour option- black and red, black and silver, grey with orange, red and blue.
Power and mileage
The Hero Xtreme 200R is powered by a single-cylinder, carburetted, air-cooled, two-valve, 200cc engine which produces 18.1 bhp at 8,000 rpm and 17.1 Nm of peak torque at 6,500 rpm. The bike is capable of doing a 0-60kmph in 4.6 seconds.

Riding and handling
The suspension is quite comfortable and deluxe. As per the weight of the seat and the rider, the option of stiffening and softening the seven-step adjustable monoshock is available. The handling is really good and the ride quality is comfortable and soft:

Safety:
The tail section of the Xtreme 200R is tapered and equipped with split grab rails and LED taillight. The front gets LED pilot lamps which give proper illumination in the dark scenarios. The availability of prominent suspension setup including a 37mm telescopic front fork and 7 way adjustable monoshock along with braking setup consisting 276mm front disc and 220mm rear disc brake give a secure ride for the rider and the pillion:

The cost of the Hero Xtreme 200R is Rs 89,900 (ex-showroom). With this pricing, the Xtreme 200R is a better alternative to the 150cc premium bikes like the Bajaj Pulsar NS160 (Rs 82,624, no ABS), Yamaha FZS-FI (Rs 86,042 for rear disc brake ver., no ABS), TVS Apache RTR 200 4V (Rs 85,535 for disc brake ver., no ABS) and the Honda CB Hornet 160R (Rs 91,143 for ABS version):
