2015 Hyundai Sonata has been rolled out on the stage of New York Auto Show 2014, in the segment of low priced luxury cars. Hyundai's seventh generation Sonata was launched in New York Auto Show on Wednesday, April 16, 2014. This sedan is marked as first car with Apple CarPlay system which shows that no other midsize luxury car maker would have added technology like Sonata.

This new car adapts some updations in its interior, exterior and built. This 2015 model is broader than its 2014 model. It comprises some features of the company’s newly launched Genesis like refurbished front end with hexagonal grille. This offers new xenon headlamps, trunk-lid and taillights. New bumper has been mounted on the car. It is redesigned with high-strength steel which made the car harsh than other models.

Car's interior is crafted with large centre console and switchgear. It gets instrument cluster and 8-inch LCD display for navigation. The car is powered with 2.4-litre four-cylinder engine which is turbocharged at maximum power of 193 PS and 247 Nm of torque. 2.0-liter petrol engine runs with 168 PS and 201 Nm of torque. Engine is mated with 6-speed manual and automatic transmission. It comes along with many safety features like 6 air bags, Anti Lock braking System and advanced cruise control.

It features rear cross-traffic alert, blind spot detection and lane departure warning. Blind spot detection works when car shows in blind spot. This 2015 Sonata has appeared in market with price tag of $22,000.
