2015: Its Time To Experience a New Royal Enfield Adventure Motorcycle

After experiencing the glorified and comfortable ride of cruiser motorcycles manufactured by Royal Enfield, now the time has come to experience a whole new ride offered by the India owned motorcycle manufacturer. The Ex-British motorcycle company is now headquartered in Chennai, India. Recently, a word dropped over the street, speaking about the new name trademarked by the Royal Enfield. The firm has applied to register a trademark for the name "Himalayan". It clearly vindicates the new release of the company.

However, it seems that the new model is currently on papers only, as we haven't got any pictures of the very same. The firm could use the applied trademark for the upcoming motorcycle. The manufacturer is also allowed to use it for trikes, clothing, helmets, etc. The icing over the cake is that the upcoming motorcycle doesn’t belong to the cruiser family. It would be an Adventure motorcycle probably. In the month of October, last year, the manufacturer was rumored to work over an adventure-tourer motorcycle.

Talking about the upcoming adventure-tourer motorcycle, it would be expected to feature a whole new 385cc power plant. The upcoming 385cc displaced engine would probably be replacing the existing Classic 350, Bullet 350, Thunderbird and Electra. This is the major step taken under the supervision of the newly joined designer of Royal Enfield, Pierre Terblanche. The upcoming adventure-tourer motorcycle would definitely fall under a completely different segment, leaving behind the Cruiser, Standard Street, Retro Street and Cafe-Racer segments.
