India-bound 2016 Audi A4 has been launched for the Indonesian market and comes with two different power output options. The fifth generation Audi A4 is available in two variants, one is FWD (Front Wheels Drive) and the other one is AWD (All wheel Drive). The FWD variant is priced at 990,000,000 IDR (INR 49,23,716.64) and the AWD variant is priced at 1,200,000,000 IDR (INR 59,68,141.38).
Coming to its power and performance, the FWD variant is powered by a 2.0-liter TFSI petrol engine that churns out a maximum power of 190hp and a peak torque of 320Nm. On the other hand, the AWD model features the Quattro permanent all-wheel drive system and a more powerful 2.0-liter TFSI petrol engine which produces a maximum power of 252hp with the combination of 370 Nm of peak torque. Both the motors are mated to a 7-Speed gearbox.
The most remarkable features of Audi A4 includes Audi Matrix LED headlights with the fresh designed DRLs, Bang and Olufsen sound system with 3D sound and Audi smartplay infotainment system with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto smartphone integration capability. It is being offered with eight exterior colour options; Ibis White, Brilliant Black, Floret Silver, Manhattan Gray, Brown Argus, Scuba Blue, Mythos Red, and Tango Red.
Audi’s virtual cockpit, a 12.3-inch fully digital instrument cluster hasn’t been introduced yet with this recent launch. However, it will be soon introduced as an option at the 2016 Gaikindo Indonesia International Auto Show in August, the same month when the 2016 Audi A4’s India launch will take place, report says.
